ZONTA OF PETOSKEY PRESENTS 52nd ANNUAL FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISER

ZONTA OF PETOSKEY CELEBRATES MOST SUCCESSFUL FASHION SHOW

(November 19, 2024 Petoskey, MI) Zonta Club of Petoskey celebrates its most successful fashion show in 52 years. An annual tradition, the 52nd annual fashion show was held on Saturday, November 2, from 11 am -2 p.m. at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club. The show featured an elegant lunch, silent auction, gift basket raffle, entertainment by Michelle Chenard, and fashions from area retailers.

Thanks to the generosity of so many wonderful sponsors and donors and patrons, the show earned more than $47,000 and netted an unprecedented $25,000. These dollars will go to support area organizations that help build a better world for women and girls in our community. A grants request for proposals will be going out in early December.

All attendees were also entered to win a fabulous $4,500 diamond and multi-colored sapphire pendant donated by Arlington Jewelers. Lucky Sally Lilak wore home the prize.

ZONTA is an international organization dedicated to the improving the lives of women and girls throughout the world through education, advocacy and service. Globally there are 1,133 clubs in 64 countries boasting a membership of more than 27,000 women. Zonta clubs make a difference in the world for women and girls through thousands of hours of service and advocacy initiatives undertaken by club members in communities in which they live and work. The Petoskey Area club has 31 members, and meets twice monthly at noon at First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey.
