| SEPTEMBER PROGRAM MEETING On Thursday, September 7, Zonta Club of Petoskey welcomes Tammy Jo Remsberg. Tammy Jo is a 62 year old woman defying age stereotypes and embracing life with vigor. “As a mother of three and a cherished grandmother of two, I have been blessed. But it has been a struggle… My path has been marked by challenges, being diagnosed with lupus and several other autoimmune conditions, I had to dig deep to not let these health battles define me. Instead, I focused on harnessing my inner strength to offer hope for others facing similar struggles. For the past eight years, I have found my passion in powerlifting. With unparalleled dedication and hard work, I’ve earned multiple state and national titles, proving that age and health obstacles are no match for an indomitable spirit. This journey into powerlifting mirrors my approach to life – facing challenges head-on, breaking barriers, and emerging victorious. My hope in sharing my story and insights on resilience, empowerment, and the unbreakable human spirit. I pray it serves as a reminder that adversity can be transformed into strength and that every setback can be a stepping stone toward greatness.” Please join us at this powerful program at noon on September 7.
